Pensive, be! If it is not you doing the research in your own be-ing, then who is?

I'm a little sad today, appreciative none the less, and aware of the majesty and awe of Creation, but saddened by our immaturity, individually and as nations. Including me! Humble amidst this Universe, yet, wishing for more integrity and kindness amongst Peoples, cousins, if you will, we need to put into practice and utilize all the tools and skills that we can to further our understanding and action upon this world.
Why do you think no one has announced themselves to us, yeah, other alien species, because we are still babies in the perspective of time. Sure, study these emerging creatures from Earth, be careful as they are full of aggressiveness and immaturity, avoid contact as they are not to be trusted. It is this way. Like a bad neighbor left alone, maybe you're curious about their behavior and activities, but you keep your distance. Yep, imho, this is where we stand amongst the civilizations that span the Universe.
A beginning... how, why, who, when, where, and what the future or the next moment holds is a good question. What we can do is try our best to be the best we can. Smiling inside as you notice you are alive and have an opportunity in this very moment, now, to improve. Just as the watery rain cleans the air and the earth and itself, so, too, do tears clean our souls and hearts from debris we accumulate. Cry when you need, becoming stronger, more determined, confirming inside your own being to press ahead no matter what. The miracle that each of us are deserves to shine brightly so keep polishing your Self, don't allow dust to obscure your Soul. Practice remembering whom you are all day, whenever you can, taking just a few moments, and if possible, before you get out of bed in your morning or fall asleep at your night, remember you are a billion years old and full of miracles paid for with millions of generations of Life...
Our Goal, finding awe, while feeling one's Self aglow.
