Growth and self-love are not mutually exclusive. Loving yourself takes effort, exploration, release, healing, and understanding there’s more to self-love than self-care. And, while the effort to promote self-love has become a hot topic across the internet and social media, there’s also been a push to define and push self-love in a way that absolutely does not support your mental and emotional health.
