QUOTES
07:16 Dr. Thema: "To come home to myself is to tell myself the truth and then live based on that truth, and that requires me being able to know how I feel. Many of us are disconnected from our own emotions."
15:16 Dr. Thema: "People assume that if you love each other that's gonna be enough. I love you and you love me, that's love conquers all. But when we talk about the day-to-day, along with that love, you're dealing with a personality."
35:55 Dr. Thema: "It's a marathon, not a sprint. We have to pace ourselves for the change we want to see in the world or in your personal life. For it to be sustainable, I cannot empty myself out. I cannot operate on fumes."
40:22 Dr. Thema: "Therapy is not for us to tell people what to do. Therapy is for you to come home to yourself so that you can then operate in clarity."
49:55 Koya: "The best sex happens when both people are like yes absolutely let's go. Everything else is a gray area and can be very harmful eventually to both people."
