Our modern lifestyles have disrupted our natural circadian rhythms. Whether it's sleeping, eating, or exposing ourselves to light outside of our usual schedule, we're losing touch with these natural cycles and increasing our chances of developing disease.

Today, on The Dhru Purohit Show, Dhru sits down with Lynne Peeples to discuss how our daily habits are disrupting our inner clock and how this ongoing disruption can have long-term effects on our health. Lynne explains the link between circadian rhythm disruption, weight gain, and chronic diseases. She also uncovers the most common disruptors and the misconceptions surrounding them. Additionally, Lynne shares three key ways to immediately improve your circadian hygiene and why it's critical to align your day with your chronotype.

Lynne Peeples is a science journalist whose writing has appeared in The Guardian, Scientific American, Nature, and other publications. Before her move to writing, she crunched numbers as a biostatistician for HIV clinical trials and environmental health studies.
