Namaste,

My Humanities in Medicine DEI Diversity Equity and Inclusion family,

Dr. Watson here for this week’s Humanities in Medicine DEI Weekly Wrap Up!

A third-year resident physician in the discipline of Psychiatry, who has a specified focus on the effects of anti-Black racism on mental health is asserting that doctors should be forced to wear body cameras to aid in the detection and videographic documentation of racist acts and detrimental, discriminatory behaviors towards patients.

The Humanities in Medicine DEI Weekly Wrap Up:

A weekly tidbit illustrative of the significance and virtues of various findings in the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) arena, occasional healthcare and popular culture literature excerpts, and touches of humor and musicality.
