We ALL have moments when we ruminate and spin in negative thoughts. Often that happens at night, preventing us from sleeping well. And the more we spin, the more that negativity impacts our feelings, leaving us disempowered, angry, frustrated, or defeated. Of course when we feel defeated, we rarely focus on our self care. Who wants to eat broccoli, get some exercise, and work on weight loss when they feel defeated? Often, we prefer chocolate, wine, or pizza when we're trying to self soothe after ruminating. Today, Dr. Lisa reviews a technique called thought interrupting. It's a way to catch these spinning thoughts and reformat them, so we don't sabotage our weight loss, our sleep, and our health. Today's episode also features a cameo appearance by Dr. Lisa's daughter. Listen in to hear what she has to say about interrupting thoughts.
