In this week's episode we're breaking down the resolution curse...lol...do we have your attention yet?!
The second Friday in January is known as National Quitter's Day, meaning most of the people who set a New Year Resolution will have quit working on their resolution before this day.
Is this you!?
So, a few things to consider when looking at this date and what it means for you and your resolutions...did you set a resolution with a plan and belief that you were actually going to achieve it? Did you set a resolution to go to the gym every day, but you only signed up for a one-week trial because you knew you wouldn't stick to it? Did you make a plan to eat more veggies but never actually went to the grocery store to pick up options that you enjoy? Did you tell someone that you were going to read more personal development books, but you never actually made a plan to get a library card, download an app to read electronically or purchase any actual hard copy books?
You see, you can't blame your lack of follow through on your resolutions or label it with another excuse....you simply didn't make a plan or have the belief that you were actually going to go through with it. You just need a plan and a little belief.
Most people don't know where to start with a plan and nobody can self-motivate. Do yourself a favor and work with someone who can help you with a plan and offer some outside motivation to help you keep going. Your resolutions are worth it, and most importantly YOU are WORTH it!
