I've noticed that my entire life people have given me varied advice and quotes about fear and how to overcome it. In saying that, I was often frustrated at the lack of practical tips to overcome these feelings of fear in the moment. This idea of fear was something I just couldn't shut off by snapping my fingers until I discovered the Reality-Based philosophy. In this episode, I give you some practical and simple strategies (that will ACTUALLY work) to start carving away that those feelings of fear to help you reduce it or redirect it into productive energy!

I have often been so frustrated by some of the advice that I've read/learned/heard about overcoming fear in my life. Many say things like "success is on the other side of fear" and "once you conquer your fears, you take control of your life" and "all that you are looking for is on the other side of fear."

While I tried to take those quotes to heart, I found myself consistently without a practical tool or technique in some of the most fearful moments of my life and career. I felt stuck to the extent that I just kind of had to deal with the feeling of fear that was causing me anxiety. If you've ever been in that place where you completely understand that fear is something you have to navigate, but you feel without a skillset or practical tool to redirect or calm that energy then you are not alone.

In this episode, I share some of our research and beliefs about fear and ways in which you can start seeing this type of energy differently. Through repeated use of our proven techniques I have found that I am able to quickly recognize when fear is playing it's game on me and by jumping into one of our better mental processes. Fear is just a flavor of drama caused by our human condition that hasn't been filtered through a good mental process.

By learning the good mental processes and tools in this episode you will find yourself better equipped to carve away the drama that fear causes to be better able to conserve that energy and put it towards actions that will lead to more impact and happiness.
