There seems to be a lack of high-quality leadership in the world today. We are no longer emphasizing training; instead, the focus is centered around popularity, personality tests, and book smarts. While intelligence is important, having applicable experiences and being in the trenches are even more vital.

Today, Johnny focuses on leadership, specifically the five pillars of effective leadership. Becoming a high-quality leader means being able to make decisions, being adaptable, communicating clearly, having integrity, and taking ownership. Focusing on these five pillars will ensure that you are a strong and effective leader for your family and your job.

Today on The Art of Masculinity:

  • Why personality tests for leadership fail
  • The importance of decision-making for high-quality leaders
  • Debunking servant leadership and why it doesn’t really exist
  • Being adaptable so you can thrive in chaotic environments
  • Effective communication sets leaders apart
  • Integrity means you’re willing to step into the trenches
  • Ownership and decision making in leadership
