Men's Mental Health, Melanoma And (Half) Marathons: Chris Chapman
Manage episode 325949140 series 2918910
At just 24 years old, Chris Chapman was diagnosed with melanoma - an aggressive cancer that had spread into his lymph node.
It brought Chris's whole world crashing down, and made him take stock of his life. Having battled with mental health issues, he's now an advocate for men's mental health, encouraging males to discuss their struggles.
And he's running a half marathon to raise money for melanoma awareness.
We talk to Chris about his life pre and post-cancer treatment, his journey to better mental health and his transition from playing rugby to running.
