16 Importance of Physical Releasing in Awakening

We hold so much tension and stress in our body. It is one of the places we store repressed material, blocks, distress, etc. Often meditation and other spiritual exercises can't reach this material stored in the body nearly as well as physical yoga can. I have found that meditation followed by Yogananda's 39 Energization Exercises is an extremely powerful combination on the path of awakening. You can go to YouTube and search Yogananda's Energization Exercises for instruction. Other types of releasing yoga are briefly mentioned in this podcast.
Each podcast in this series on awakening stands on its own. However are most powerful if listened to in sequence from podcast 1 on because they build each other.
