Right now, we're looking at a 30 percent chance of snow showers after 5 am, with temperatures dropping to a crisp 27 degrees. So grab those extra layers! Friday is going to be a meteorological mixed bag. We're talking snow showers, freezing rain, and sleet before 2 pm, transitioning to more freezing rain and then plain old rain after 3 pm. Temperatures will barely nudge up to 34 degrees, with winds gusting up to 20 miles per hour. Expect up to 0.2 inches of ice accumulation and potentially less than an inch of snow and sleet. The weekend starts off mostly cloudy on Saturday with a high near 36 degrees and northwest winds up to 25 miles per hour. Today, we're looking at a crisp and sunny day with temperatures climbing to a chilly 43 degrees Fahrenheit. Those northwest winds will be dancing around 5 to 10 miles per hour, with occasional gusts up to 15 miles per hour. Grab a light jacket, folks! But hold onto your hats, because things are about to get interesting. Tonight, we've got a slight 10 percent chance of snow after 5 am, with temperatures dropping to around 27 degrees Fahrenheit.
