Robert C Gourlay, RFD, B.App.Sc., M.App.Sc. Company Director and Environmental Research Scientist Robert is the Managing Director and Chief Scientist of Resonate Research Pty Ltd (www.phion.com.au, www.meawater.com, www.primalwater.com.au) and Environmental Research and Information Consortium Pty Ltd (ERIC, www.eric.com.au) and a principal environmental scientist specializing in biological research, water structure science, groundwater mapping and bore location, resource assessment and management.
Robert is the inventor of the MEA water devices. He has over 30 years of water structure research, leading to the first MEA water prototype in September 2012, capable of holding a permanent negative charge and structure. The design and engineering have been improved since that time through innovation or feedback from over 300 experiments with water quality, microbes, plants, animal, and human wellbeing. His papers and essays are continuously updated, and new papers added based research outcomes by other scientists dating back to the 1920’s.

Water in a natural flowing state has a six-sided crystalline (hexagonal) structure with a net negative charge due to the increased oxygen molecules. Structured water is known as living water. When water is removed from its flowing & vortex state (think a natural spring) the water structure changes to a five-sided crystalline (pentagonal) structure, & loses oxygen molecules & converts to a positive charge.
All still water, including urban water from reservoirs, tank water & water flowing through straight pipes carries a positive charge/dead water. However, the cells in all living species, microbes, plants, animals, & humans, function at an optimal level with a negative charge.
When you drink positive charge water, your body must use your energy to convert the positive charge to a negative charge. However, when you drink negative charge, structured water, you are not unnecessarily wasting your energy on charge conversion.
