Nobody likes the feeling of being dismissed. No other group has been dismissed and misunderstood more than those who struggle with obesity. We deserve to be respected by the healthcare community. We deserve to be accommodated and treated like we matter; especially when the effort is being made and the cooperation seems to be nonexistent. Join us this week as we explore the healthcare community and how as a whole they continue to drop the ball when it comes to treating obesity and the health issues that surround it. Join us as we explore the misunderstandings and false assumptions made by society and those that are supposed to be under a hippocratic oath to give us the care and respect we deserve. This week Sean shares a personal story where needs were not met and inadequacy and poor preparation led to another setback. Be your own advocate. Speak up on this week's Obesity Revolution Podcast.
