I’m here talking about the top 10 ways women over complicate nutrition when trying to lose weight, lose fat or recomp their body.
I’m talking to all women, competitors & non competitors. So if you think/feel weight loss is hard, listen up so you can simplify, in order to mazimize your efforts because changing your physqiue is really, really simple.
NUTRITION:

  1. You don’t have to eat specific food during prep. You can eat foods you enjoy & still get stage lean.
  2. You can eat processed food in prep & not in your building season.
  3. Volume food is not your best friend. You can eat a hamburgers in all seasons.
  4. You do not need to fast. Nor do you need to eat before specific times for fat loss. Just eat the same amount of food every day.
  5. Carb cycling is not necessary & does not speed up fat loss.
  6. If you have any* GI issues, you will not lose lower belly fat until those GI are addressed.
  7. There’s a difference between having abs & having a strong core. You do not want abs as a bikini competitor. A strong core is required & will allow you to control everything from your walk to your poses.
  8. Eating less than 1500 calories in your first 1-3 years of competing is destroying your metabolic & hormonal health. Both allow you to easily gain/lose weight as you age. Make sure you’re eating & training for longevity; for the sport & your health.
  9. Your reverse diet is more important than your prep. Without a well programmed & executed reverse, prep will suck & prep does NOT have to suck.
  10. The same mindset you have during prep should be your mindset during your building season. This makes both efficient, easy & intentional.
