We have an awesome episode of the Curious Therapist Show (previously the Body and Food Freedom Podcast) where I interview Bec Gawler.

Bec Gawler is a Physiotherapist based in Melbourne and was a delight to interview. She has a special interest in supporting individuals facing the challenges of an eating disorder and those who want to improve their relationship with movement. Bec also enjoys helping people navigate chronic illness, hypermobility, pain and injuries with a compassionate, trauma informed approach. Bec currently works at Balance North in Preston and Eat Love Live in Collingwood.

In my conversation with Bec, we discuss:

-the role of a physiotherapist in eating disorder recovery (I WISH I HAD THIS!)

-what trauma informed physiotherapy looks like

-what a dysfunctional relationship with exercise looks like and how to take steps towards a more positive relationship with exercise

Check out the episode HERE

I would highly recommend checking out Bec’s services. You can message on Instagram or contact one of her practices. She does offer telehealth and a free 15-minute introduction call to ensure this is a good fit for you.

You can check Bec's work out on Instagram. She is happy for direct messages if that's easier for you:)
