I’ve been on my fitness journey since I was probably about thirteen when I started taking spin classes so you can say I’ve been on this journey for almost two decades. That’s a long ass time. I’ve learned a lot along the way but I’ve also made mistakes. I’ve also been coaching in this space for almost a decade as mainly a group fitness instructor but at times I was a personal trainer and then of course I’m an online coach now, so I’ve seen a lot of the same mistakes I made being made by those I talk to and work with.

I am not here to tell you that there is one single right way to do fitness. There’s a million different ways to do it and approach it and what is “right” is ultimately up to you. But I’m addressing in this podcast those who have a very specific goal in mind which is to build muscle. I don’t care what words you use whether you say you want to look toned or look lean or burn fat or whatever it is, ultimately the end goal is you want to build muscle and if that is the case then to a degree there is a “right” way to do things that will get you the best possible results. Those are going to be the tips I’m sharing today, so let’s dive into it.
