Welcome to this episode of SelfKind with Erica Webb (that’s me!) and my very special guest, Movement Educator and Author, Trina Altman.

In this episode Trina is sharing her evolution as both a mover and a movement professional. In particular, we talk about the central role strength training now plays for her as a mover and a teacher.

Tune in to hear:

  • The transitions Trina has made from competitive cheerleading, to a corporate career, to becoming a yoga teacher in her thirties. It doesn’t stop there though - Trina goes on to share how multi-disciplinary movement has always been important to her, and how she weaves her various movement qualifications into her teaching now.
  • How hypermobility impacted Trina’s exploration of movement as a mover and teacher.
  • The value of taking an interdisciplinary approach to movement
  • The role of personalised, individualised learning in movement and the value of the private session
  • The role mental health therapy has played in Trina’s movement life
  • And so much more.
