Ranulf Green, Runwithalli® Coached Athlete, 1:26 Half Marathon Runner, 17:34 5K Runner, Husband, and Father Joins Me For A Chat On How To Train To Run Smarter & Faster!
Ranulf was a 400-meter athlete in track & field, took a hiatus from running to do all of the husband, life, and dad duties, and returned to the sport! Since then, he's seen some significant feats with me, including: running a 5:11 mile indoors last winter and a 5:04 mile at the 5th Ave Mile last September. Not long after the winter mile, Ranulf ran a 6:50 pace for a 10K (42:27 in June 2022). He was a 1:42 half marathoner (7:49 PACE) at the UA half in March 2022 to a transformed 1:26 half marathoner (6:38 PACE) at the Newport Liberty half on 9/24/22. He is currently on a break from training due to taking some time to mentally and physically return from a minor setback and regroup before tackling the marathon distance and chasing a sub-3-hour marathon!
In this episode, we chat about:

  1. What in Ranulf's training has been the ONE thing that contributed to his success in his races so far
  2. What he did in hid training to improve his 5K fitness
  3. Any setbacks while training that came about, and how Ranulf combated them and dealt with them
  4. What he enjoys when he's not running

AND MORE! Tune in to find out and listen to the entire episode.
