Life is like a box of chocolates you never know what you're going to get. I'm sure we can all relate to this Forest Gump saying. I find this statement to be true because life is such an experiment. One thing we've discovered in our community is that while we may not know what we are going to get we can impact our experiences by choosing how we respond to what appears in our lives. In fact this is where our power lies. We would serve ourselves well to master the art of how we choose to respond. Many of us have lived life as if it is happening to us. However, life has a way of showing us that life is happening through us. We are like the scientist getting to alchemize the conditions we encounter. If we choose to live life like things are just happening to us and we are going along for the ride with no options available to us, we find ourselves living as victims making poor choices void of hope. Our guest host Susan Shumsky intends to share with us how we can tap back into our power by understanding we are not victims of our circumstances, but instead volunteers to every encounter we experience.
