She has earned a Masters of Science degree in Clinical and Community Counseling from John Hopkins University as well as a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Jackson State University. She currently serves as Clinical Lecturer Professor and Course Developer at Northwestern University. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, clinical hypnosis, and parent management training in her work.
