Welcome to Protecting Your Nest with Dr. Tony Hampton. Dr. Adam Treitman is a Board Certified infectious disease specialist affiliated with Advocate Christ Hospital. He attended medical school at Tel Aviv University, completed his internship and residency at Beth Israel Medical Center, and did his fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He is currently the Chief of Infectious Disease and Medical Director for Infection Control at Advocate Christ Medical Center.

In this discussion, Drs. Tony and Adam talk about the role of an infectious disease doctor (especially in the context of a global pandemic), how to replenish beneficial microorganisms and how to fight off those that are unwelcome, treatments available for COVID-19, how the monoclonal antibody treatment works, some practical recommendations for protecting oneself from diseases, oxidative stress and how to avoid it, and how to effectively and safely use vitamin supplements.
