Most parents in the world today are required to wear multiple hats. The multitude of responsibility placed on us as individuals is tough to balance much of the time, and it’s up to us to not only find this balance, but to do so gracefully in order to set an example for those around us.
In this episode, my guest, Xiomara Gittens, shares her experiences as a mother, doula, reiki practitioner, and business owner, all while managing lupus. Xiomara discusses how she balances these responsibilities, prioritizes parenting, utilizes her doula expertise to enhance her parenting journey, and navigates life with an autoimmune disease.
