In today's episode we will dive into the subject of seasonal depression. Seasonal depression is triggered by the change in seasons and occurs mostly in the fall and winter months. There are a few simple things you can do to combat seasonal depression which will be shared in today's episode.

As the seasons change, for some of us our mood is impacted by these changes. There are several factors for these mood changes such as a drop in serotonin levels and dopamine plays a critical role in light and dark adaptation in the retina which can impact mood.

There are however simple things you can do that may improve your seasonal depression that does not require medication but simply a few self care adjustments that include diet as well as sleep.

The goal is to make sure you are taking notice to certain changes in your body as well as your mental and spiritual wellbeing.
