Kunyaza is a traditional sensual practice dedicated to female pleasure. Originally from Rwanda, east-central Africa, the kunyaza tradition has the reputation of facilitating female ejaculation and multiple orgasms in women during heterosexual encounters. Also practiced in Uganda and Kenya, where it is known as kachabali. The book examines the cultural impact of the kunyaza, the ssengas (female sex educators) preserving this tradition, and whether kunyaza enhances sexual pleasure for women. The book also explores whether kunyaza is a female-empowering tradition, the mysteries of female ejaculation and the controversial topic of labia pulling . Drawing on extensive research from sexologists, psychologists and everyday women, the book explores the psychology of female pleasure and provides an intimate and illustrated guide to kunyaza – the secret to female pleasure. Habeeb Akande is a British-born writer and historian of Nigerian descent. He is the author of five published books on race, erotic Muslim literature, and Afro-Brazilian history. He is currently working on producing a documentary about being black and Muslim in Brazil. Habeeb graduated from Kingston University with a First Class BA with Honours degree in Business and Film Studies. After his graduation, he travelled to Cairo, Egypt to study Arabic, Islamic Law and Islamic History at al-Azhar High School and University. http://rabaah.com/kunyaza.html S.O.L.
