Top 3 weight loss myths: 1.- Cutting carbs will help people lose weight. This is a common myth that has been going around in the fitness industry for quite sometime. Science shows that cutting carbohydrates doesn't gurantee faster weightloss results. Carbs are the preferred source of energy for the human body. In fact, limiting carb intake can make people feel fatigued, and can also lead to health risks. Only a caloric deficit can help someone lose weight. 2.- Eating late at night will make people gain weight. Only when people consume more calories than they burn will make them gain weight, no matter the time of the day. Usually, it's at night when people eat the "extra calories" after having already met the required intake for the day. 3.- A waist trainer, or a sweat suit will help someone lose weight. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Although, sweating helps eliminate toxins it does not help people burn more fat or lose weight, in fact it can dehydrate them at a faster rate.
