- You don’t have to know what you want to do. A path of interest, curiosity and opportunity can lead you to an unexpected career
- Be willing to pivot and be scrappy as you can learn a lot from painful experiences
- Free yourself from the tethers of other people’s opinions
- Your uniqueness is an asset, not a limitation
- Be constantly curious with a purpose. Read a lot and don’t be afraid of constructive criticism as you will learn and improve from it
