David Caes was one of the early “dreamers” who saw that CCHF could make a lasting impact on healthcare, within neglected communities and through the church. David used his creative gifts and relational personality to build a network and to help practitioners share their experiences and insights with one another. That has been the hallmark of CCHF ever since. He was editor and a contributing writer for CCHF’s quarterly journal: Health & Development, and published “Caring for the Least of These” and the 1st edition of “Upholding the Vision”. Libby, David’s wife, organized annual conferences, and served as administrator for two of the earliest CCHF clinics, Circle Family Health and Lawndale Christian Health Center in Chicago. Through sacrificial work and faithfulness, David and Libby Caes laid a foundation for something that has grown bigger than they ever dreamed. They continue to serve Jesus where they have opportunities, and have represented Christ and his kingdom in every phase of their lives in both Christian contexts and in secular settings. You can listen to CCHFTalk on Apple Podcast, Spotify, or at CCHF.org/cchf-talk.
