In this episode, we interview Dr. Liana Wooten from George Washington University regarding her publications “Carbon Dioxide Expiration and Performance Fatigability Following Aerobic Exercise Training” and “Role of Respiratory Buffering in the Relationship Between Recovery and Performance Fatigability After Aerobic Exercise Training” published in the January 2021 Special Issue on Basic Science and Applied physiology. This episode includes a great discussion on the role of applied physiology research in the physical therapy profession and the effects of fatiguability on activity limitations.
