In this week's episode, I am joined by Dr. Daya Alexander Grant, a neuroscientist and mental performance consultant. She specializes in teaching athletes mental skills rooted in neuroscience and yoga philosophy. Her expertise lies at the intersection of brain science and athletic performance, helping athletes unlock their full potential.

We discuss:

  • the importance of how mental skills training and how neuroscience and yoga philosophy intersect in this domain
  • the unique challenges that female athletes face and some tangible practices that someone can utilize when going through the phases of life (motherhood, menopause, etc)
  • How mindfulness practices influence the brain and athletic performance
