Good morning, weather watchers! Let's dive into our chilly Columbus forecast.
Today's looking like a crisp winter day with mostly sunny skies and temperatures struggling to reach a high near 21 degrees Fahrenheit. Bundle up because wind chill values will make it feel like negative 1 degree. Winds will be light and breezy from the southwest at 3 to 6 miles per hour.
Tonight gets interesting with a chance of snow after 4 AM. Clouds will roll in, and temperatures will drop to around 9 degrees. Expect a light dusting of less than half an inch of snow.
Thursday brings more winter drama! Snow likely between 7 AM and 10 AM, with temperatures climbing to a chilly 33 degrees. Winds will be shifting from south to west, potentially gusting up to 21 miles per hour. We're looking at about an inch of snowfall.
As we roll into the weekend, expect a mix of rain and snow. Temperatures will hover around the mid to upper 30s, with a significant chance of precipitation on Saturday.
The cold snap continues through Martin Luther King Day, with temperatures plummeting to a bone-chilling 8 degrees Fahrenheit.
