Welcome to the first episode of the Voices of Healthcare Equity podcast. Today’s episode features a conversation with Dr. Milton Chen, CEO of VSEE, a telehealth platform focused on creating a secure, intuitive, easy to use interface for telehealth. VSEE has been used by notable US corporations such as NASA, IBM, Shell, and Kaiser Permanente. Milton is an active innovator and thorough leader in the use of this technology internationally and in low resourced regions. Milton and the VSEE team were the first to engage with and support the Healthcare Alliance for an Equitable World, and our collaboration has continued through three missions in the Philippines providing free health screenings in poor communities. In today’s episode we will learn more about Milton’s current and future work in the Philippines and what drives his dedication to healthcare equity.
