Jacquelyn Strickland is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Coach and workshop leader based in Ft. Collins, Colorado. She has often been called the pioneer of the national and international movement for highly sensitive people (HSP) after co-creating the HSP Gathering Retreats in 2001 with Dr. Elaine Aron, author The Highly Sensitive Person, How to Thrive When the World Overwhelms You, and 4 other books the subject. Jacquelyn is passionate about her vision of a world full of empowered HSPs. She has been certified to utilize the Myers Briggs Personality Inventory since 1991, and she is trained in hypnotherapy and is a Level II EMDR therapist. Her counseling and coaching practice combines therapeutic orientations, coaching principles, EMDR and hypnotherapy with her client's spiritual foundation.
