Scientists have proven the psychological phenomenon that as humans we tend to -
1. Remember traumatic experiences vs positive experiences
2. Think about insults more frequently
3. Respond strongly to negative events
Hence,
- it is easier to list things that are not working vs things that we can be grateful for.
- think first about what to work on or fix vs realising what we are good at
In this episode we will unfold the fact that negativity exists within us and will always be there. Because as humans we are constructed with the innate idea of survival and therefore, will operate as with our defences and negative stimuli. We will further realise the impact of not being mindful of this trait and then eventually, identify opportunities that will help us be conscious of this trait within ourselves and ways to mitigate it.
