In this episode of The Worst Girl Gang Ever, Bex & Laura talk to Tessa van der Vord, AKA the Mental Health Midwife, about her experience with a pregnancy which was discovered to have Down's syndrome.

Tessa opens up about the difficulties in deciding to terminate the pregnancy and the shame and guilt arising thereafter. She talks about the process to discover and confirm that her pregnancy had Down’s syndrome and the conflicting emotions which arose from learning that information.

They discuss the lack of information surrounding pregnancies with discoverable conditions, and the incredible understanding she Tessa received from people who had been through similar experiences.
