I strongly recommend this book to other internal baguazhang practitioners because 1) it’s good to sometimes walk a different path and gain new experiences. And 2) it contains baguazhang neigong exercises from the Ma Family style (馬家八卦掌) of baguazhang. Which I am sure some of you will be familiar with. This was the review I intended to post in Amazon.com regarding this book. However it didn’t make the cut according to Amazon’s guidelines. Anyway, my written review starts after the five (5) stars I am giving it. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ When I first noticed this book: Secrets of Drunken Boxing 3: Internal Alchemy, most of the reviews were awfully biased against it. After reading it, I can say that most of those negative reviews were written by uninformed people who have no interest in internal alchemy through martial arts. In fact, I’m not even sure if they actually had even read this book. While this book may look small, it is in fact full of depth that takes serious dedication to grasp even the most basic of concepts. It is no lightweight. This is a must-read for all who are Taoist in thought. Sifu Neil Ripski has done a great service to the martial arts community by make the information in this book available to all seek it. And while my review fails to meet Amazon.com’s review guidelines, I give it 5 stars out of five. Secrets of Drunken Boxing, in the Eight Shadow Style Vol.3 Internal Alchemy ISBN: 978-0-9939634-4-5 by Sifu Neil Ripski Red Jade Martial Arts #redjademartialarts #NeilRipski #drunkenboxing #internalalchemy #neigong #waigong #qigong #eightshadowstyle #mafamilybaguazhang #baguazhang #馬家八卦掌 An update since my attempted review, a lot of the negative reviews seem to have vanished from sight. Which is a good thing because now the reviews are a bit more informed on the subject. Anyway, as always I leave it up to you the listener to stay informed and walk your own Tao.
