Happy first week of Spring! This week on TRM, we are joined by PTSD & Trauma Expert, Psychotherapist, CEO, and Clinical Director, Joelle Maletis. In this episode, Joelle explains the concept of post-traumatic growth, which is all about learning how to live your life after trauma. Her approach is extremely authentic and genuine, highlighting that sometimes things just suck, and that's okay. However, it's also important that we learn to move forward in a meaningful way so, she talks about the importance of developing resiliency skills. She references the mind-body-soul connection (which we all know I love) and provides both clinical and practical ways that we can use these things in our everyday lives. Joelle has a big focus on balance and fulfillment in her work, and she does this by meeting her clients where they are at before taking them in any direction they might be uncomfortable with. This conversation is super relevant and insightful, and I truly learned a lot! Be sure to follow us on social media @therevolutionizedmind & @official.joelle.trauma.therapy, and don't forget to rate, review, and subscribe to the show on whatever platform you're listening on!
