In this solo show I’m discussing the 3 step roadmap I use for myself, and teach to clients about navigating trauma triggers. Triggers are inevitable part of having a history of trauma, but staying blindsided by them for lengths of time doesn't need to be. This episode will help you get through them and return to calm faster and with more ease and grace. Be sure to grab the companion PDF guide to this episode HERE.

  • What trauma triggers are and how they are like bruises in our nervous system
  • Common events or situations that can be potentially triggering
  • The physiological nervous system cascade that happens after being triggered
  • The importance of creating safety in your nervous system and how we can use “glimmers” to do that
  • Rewriting the story of being triggered to create brain coherence using a technique called “name it to tame it”
