Welcome to a very special birthday edition of The MarshyCast! As I celebrate another trip around the sun, I’m feeling incredibly thankful for the amazing people I get to speak with, and for all of you who tune in to listen. Whether it’s the podcast, my radio shows, or even just following me on social media—your support means the world to me, and I never take it for granted. Now, let’s dive into this week’s fantastic lineup of guests!

First, I had the privilege of speaking with broadcasting legend Dermot Murnaghan about the gripping new series Crimes That Shook Britain. We discussed why, despite being known to the police, some perpetrators continue to commit horrific crimes. Of course, we couldn’t resist touching on a lighter note—Arsenal’s chances of winning the league!

Next, I was honoured to chat with author and former RAF navigator John Nichols, who was shot down over Iraq, about his powerful new book and tour, The Unknown Warrior. We delved into the harrowing tragedies of World War I, focusing on the countless soldiers whose bodies were never recovered.

Finally, I caught up with the hilarious Helen Thorn from the Scummy Mummies podcast. We talked about their UK tour, how the live show brings something different from the podcast, and, naturally, we swapped some of our scummiest parenting stories!

Thank you so much for reading and listening—your support means everything, especially today. Please like, subscribe, and share, and I’ll be back next week with another episode just for you.
