"How did my life come to this?" and "how did I get myself into this situation yet again?" If these are the questions you are constantly asking yourself then it is likely that you are lacking self-responsibility and you fail to make responsible choices. This is something that we face often when we struggle with low self-esteem, as we find it hard to accept that we have the power to create our lives. Instead we hand that power over to others and don't consider the impact that our poor decision making has on how we experience our lives and the negative situations we invite into our lives. The higher our self-esteem raises, the more self-responsible we become.
