Wayne Gretzky, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, and the stars today have all satisfied the 10 000 hour rule; the amount of time it takes to build neural connections in the brain to make a skill 'autonomous'. In other words, they were not simply born or blessed with all of their skill, they put in 10 000 + hours as young kids honing their craft.
