Confidence Hack #53: The interpersonal expectancy effect is the idea that our expectations can actually create that outcome!

Have you ever been to a movie that you didn’t think would be worth seeing, and you walked away raving about it? On the contrary, have you ever been to a movie where a friend had way over-hyped and walked away with a dissatisfied taste in your mouth?

The human brain believes what the expectation signal is telling it. But where the rubber hits the road is when expectations don’t align with realities. In every situation, there is a positive and a negative. Just like the expectancy can be a letdown, it can also increase motivation and confidence.

In today’s episode, I want to show you an example of how this can play out for your career. 2 different people set certain expectations. Where they each find confidence and fulfillment will surprise you!

Hey! If you love this show, share it with family and friends! It’s the best way to help get this info into the hands of people who want to grow and become the most CONFIDENT LEADERS they can be! And please throw us a 5-star review!
