Real Representation in Beauty with Funmi Fetto. In this episode of the Beauty Podcast from Avon, Sali Hughes is joined by Observer Beauty editor and Funmi Fetto @FunmiFetto.

Funmi has over 15 years experience as a beauty journalist. She’s Executive Editor and Beauty Director at Glamour, Contributing Beauty Editor, Columnist and former Beauty Director at Vogue, former Beauty Director at Tatler and has written for the Guardian, the Sunday Times, Elle and Harper’s Bazaar.

Funmi explains how her personal experience of seeking beauty products inspired her to write her book, "Palette: The Beauty Bible for Women of Colour.”

Sali and Funmi discuss the book’s reception and changes in the beauty industry: From representation for people of colour in advertising and marketing to the problems of tokenism or ‘moments’ created by big brands. They also discuss how we can all vote with our feet to support real and lasting representation in the industry.
In the clinic they answer your questions on everything from seasonal skincare to SPF, hair and lipstick tones.
