On the 105th episode of the Jiu-Jitsu Outlet podcast, I sit down with Steve Lord - a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt under the legendary Pedro Sauer.
On my very first day of Jiu-Jitsu, Steve was my first ever training partner. I still remember - we drilled armbars from mount and mount escapes. He was also one of my first BJJ coaches because he'd teach class every Wednesday evening. At the time, Steve was a purple belt and I was a brand new white belt.
Steve and I talk about how training in Jiu-Jitsu has impacted his mental health and life off the mats. We get into discussing how Jiu-Jitsu is an allegory for life and why it's so great for people's mental and physical health.
In this episode, Steve talks about how Jiu-Jitsu has changed his life, lessons from Pedro Sauer, what he's learned from teaching Jiu-Jitsu, philosophy, and a lot more.
In this episode, learn about why Jiu-Jitsu training changes lives and why it's such a great outlet for mental and physical health.
This is an episode you do NOT want to miss.
