Managing change would be easy if it were just one change curve happening in a planned programme. The reality is that someone may be handling multiple change curves all at different stages and wreaking different impacts for different people. And like a rollercoaster, every now and then it experiences a rollback - all the energy and effort put into a change, that then suddenly loses momentum and can leave people winded.
We share tips for understanding and planning for the impact of change on teams, keeping people safe along the ups and downs, and putting your own seatbelt on as the manager. Communication, visibility and transparency from managers is how people place their trust in seeing the change through to the end.
