Do you feel like there is a gap between how old you think you are and your actual age? There's research why this is and I am breaking it all down in this episode. This week, I talk about a recent article in the cut entitled "The Pandemic Skip" by Katy Schneider. I share how I personally relates to the article which discusses how young adults in the pandmeic have lost a few years of their life and are coming out of it with this strange sense that they do not feel the age that they are. I discuss trends I have been seeing with my clients, how young women are specifically impacted by this because of our biological clocks and how research shows young women lost more friends in the pandemic compared to other demographics. I also use this article to have a broader discussion about how memories are formed, what the research says about how the pandemic has impacted our memories and why all of us feel like time during the pandemic was really fast but also really slow. Finally, I end the episode by answering listener questions.
