Hosting our first podcast of 2025 is our very own PCRS Education Committee member Dr Fiona Mosgrove (GP with special interest in respiratory medicine) who is joined by Professor James Chalmers (Asthma and Lung UK Chair of Respiratory Research) to talk all about bronchiectasis and in particular the new treatments that are available and some exciting future prospects too.
Bronchiectasis is becoming a more recognised chronic lung disease with more patients being correctly diagnosed now than there ever has been.
During their conversation Fiona and James dive into what the current treatment options are, the profound change you could see in your patients health and wellbeing when bronchiectasis is diagnosed and treated effectively, some of the science behind these effective medications, and what the future holds for bronchiectasis treatments - it's exciting times ahead!
