In this episode of the Pregnancy & Postnatal Entrepreneurs Collective podcast, we delve into the common and challenging experience of imposter syndrome. While we always highlight that parents are the experts in their own bodies and experiences, as Birth & Postnatal workers we often find ourselves in positions where we are expected to provide expert knowledge and support to families during one of the most transformative times of their lives. It can be difficult to feel confident and capable all the time, and imposter syndrome can take hold.

We explore what imposter syndrome is and how it can impact both our work supporting families and building our businesses. We discuss the common fears of not feeling good enough, educated enough, or experienced enough and how these feelings can hold us back from taking on new clients or growing our businesses.

But we also dive into strategies for overcoming imposter syndrome. We discuss the importance of acknowledging our feelings, building a support network of peers and mentors, and focusing on our strengths and accomplishments.

This episode is a must-listen for anyone who has ever struggled with imposter syndrome or who wants to gain insights into how to build a successful business while providing excellent care and support to families. Join us as we support and inspire our community of Pregnancy & Postnatal Entrepreneurs.
