What does healthy self-care look like for you? In what ways can we manage our boundaries with family, friends, and work?

(the recording was corrupted in transporting to the studio and does not reflect the quality of this exceptional interview or the perspectives of this amazing therapist)

What does self-care look like for you?
Do you practice self-care?
What do you believe healthy boundaries look like?

- Say no
- Boundaries are important
- You are your first priority

Ashley is helping families, couples, and individuals navigate the stages of life by providing necessary skills for their emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.

"I’m a service provider focusing on setting realistic expectations that allow you to walk into whom you are meant to be. My primary approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Structural Family, and Narrative Family Therapy. My main approach, however, is to meet you where you are. Let's get real together. I have degrees from Purdue, Indiana, and Capella University and have worked in the field off and on for the past ten years. I have worked with couples for successful relationships and marriages, individuals to work through the trauma from their past, and families to communicate better within their homes. I also work with children and adolescents in and out of academic settings. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and National Board Certified Counselor, I have presented at the Black Mental Health Symposium, Zing Life Services Telesummit, Women to Women Luncheon, Purdue University Women's Conference, and co-presenter at an annual marriage retreat with my husband."
