Michelle Kolling and Nina Guertin are thrilled to join host Ken Haglind on the “Living Healthy and Aging Well” radio show to share about the Minnesota Death Collaborative, a central resource of integrated end-of-life professionals and organizations. The MNDC and its members provide presence, education, and advocacy to individuals who are dying, caregivers, and providers. Through compassion and respect, the MNDC honors all visions and experiences of dying, death, and grief. Nina Guertin is a founding member of the MNDC and Michelle Kolling currently serves on the MNDC Steering Committee. They are both end-of-life doulas in private practice, are death educators, grief support specialists, and more. The Minnesota Death Collaborative and its members are committed to a cultural vision that embraces and honors death as a part of life, by providing a safe place for open conversations to those who are facing death, are curious about death and dying, or are wanting information around practical, legal, and logistical concerns.
